APPLE has been pursuing “expert” meetings with excellent programs for many years. However, an educational program has been absent so far, an issue that has inspired serious internal discussion. As a result, as of 2019, we have decided to commence the Educational Program, and APPLE Academy 2019, the first meeting is set on Aug 29, 2019, one day prior to the Annual Meeting in Sapporo, Japan. This program is expected to become a stepping stone for our next generation of doctors and non-expert doctors who are interested in liver cancer.

• Target Number of Participants: Maximum 100 people
• Registration Fee: Complimentary (Program booklet, name badge, coffee break, and lunch will be provided. )
• APPLE Scholarship: The APPLE Association will provide support in the amount of USD 1,000 for applicants from developing countries who would like to experience a learning opportunity. The education committee will review submitted application forms and select qualified applicants.
